Been mucking around with GFI lately - nice product sets.
Anyway using Event Manager I kept getting an 0x4B8 extended error when trying to access one of my servers - all built the same but this one kept failing.
Started usual trouble shooting and eventually lead to some articles referring to Group policy issues.
tried a GPUpdate /force to check and got error messages referring to Domain time.
Turned out that the DC and all the other servers running in HyperV had picked up a different date to the (other) servers as they had picked up their date from the Host - which was one day ahead of the other virtual servers.
Simple lesson - run a NET TIME /DOMAIN to verify your machine is in agreement!
